Hey totty,
you crack me up!

If the weather is fine (no clouds) the eclipse will be visible as a partial eclipse in Hong Kong from 8.15am to 10.46am, with a maximum eclipse of about 75% occurring at 9.26am.
As the sun's elevation is high the eclipse will be visible in most places with an unobstructed view to the east. However, to avoid eye damage do not to look directly at the sun or through telescopes. Polarized glasses will not help. Nor will the old electrician's tale of looking through a frosted light bulb. (Also be wary of "eclipse googles" hawked by neferious vendors).
The safest way is to project the sun's image through a pinhole or a telescope onto a piece of white paper and view the produced projection.
Or, go to lamma Island and dance naked on the beach with your eyes focused on nubile bodies and not the sun.
CNN has a nice map:

Fun eclipse myth: gravity will decrease during the eclipse. Try not to float away! This sounds almost as bad as balancing eggs during the equinox.
"Or, go to lamma Island and dance naked on the beach with your eyes focused on nubile bodies and not the sun."
Sounds like a plan. ;)
