Does anyone know where I can get some fresh mint leaves in HK? Wet market? Feeling like mojito tonight!

you could just buy a small plant from any of these roadside small nurseries. I bot mine for just 10 bucks from queens road east for a fresh supply of mint leaves all year round....otherwise have seen them at park and shop next to basil, dil leaves..

Yep, the usual supermarkets often sell it in small packs alongside the fresh basil, rosemary etc.
BTW, in the past I have bought bought large, cheap bunches of local mint when I couldn't get hold of imported varieties but the flavour is very weak compared to the British or NZ packs. You'd need an awful lot of leaves to get anything out of them.

We're trying to grow our own mint but are not experiencing the easy time of it that most people say is the case with mint. We cut the plants back a 6 weeks or so ago and we've still only got tiny little leaves (and half of those have been partially nibbled).
What's the secret to fast growing mint? We're growing it in pots and they get lots of sun and rain/watering. Is it too hot for them now?

I found some nice fresh mint in a veg store at the top of the graham street market last week - she had a lot of other herbs too
