Hello. I want to get rid of my prepaid sim card and sign a contract, and I'm torn between 3 and PCCW Mobile.
Obviously I'm considering 3 primarily to get an iPhone. I've done a bit of computation and I will be paying roughly 8,000hkd as a total package for two years (on installment basis of course), rebates considered.
Then there's PCCW Mobile, which I think is more affordable. Total package for 1.5 years is 5,000hkd. I get to have a free phone too (but it's not iPhone of course). I would also get free 5 hours of mobile TV covering 11 channels.
Logic says choose the latter but heart wants an iPhone. Torn and confused.
Which one should I sign up for? Would appreciate some advice on both mobile network users.

You can buy an unlocked iPhone and use PCCW anyway.

You could but would cost you more in the long run and depending on where you live / work as PCCW doesn't have a great 3G reputation.

I work in wireless.....PCCW network is pretty bad (formerly Sunday)....3 is better, but the best of the bunch is CSL/1010/one2free, followed by Smartone.
Iphone is pretty cool...
If your decision is budget based, then PCCW is the way to go with free channels etc
