Has anybody been to Singapore (specifically Sentosa) with kids recently? We were planning to stay on Sentosa, but have heard that that Rasa Shangri-la is a bit rundown, and that Sentosa has been dusty, dirty and full of construction.
We wanted to go to have beach access, yet be within 30min distance to a zoo and other activities.

Hi there,
I went to Sentosa Resort and Spa with my husband and one-year old daughter. The pool was lovely. Access to the beach was via a wooden walkway that had stairs but wasn't too strenuous. We only stayed one night and it was my first in Sentosa. It didn't seem that bad. Nice place to visit, especially the zoo.
