I am another one the GFC has "killed off" and need to return to homebase in September/October. I have an apartment full of furniture, linen, crockery etc and all the appliances (apart from the fridge which came with it) that I would like to donate to a charity but can't find one willing to take it. It is all less than 12 months old and in perfect condition. I want to get rid off it in one hit so couldn't be bothered with selling it piece by piece. I have tried the Salvation Army and the Y and waiting for Red Cross to get back to me. Has anyone got any useful suggestions for me?
