landlord in default on mortgage

My landlord is in default on his mortgage payment and has been served with a court Summons. Eventually the bank might repossess "my flat". What will be the consequences for me as a tenant? And what are my legal rights? Has the tenancy agreement to be honoured by the bank? Can we be evicted?

I have called the mortgage hotline of said bank, but they only know how to sell mortgages. Any tips and suggestions as to what steps I should take are much appreciated!

Thanks!

your tenancy agreement will hold in any case

FYI The mortgage provider (i.e. the bank) did not endorse the tenancy agreement, so it is under no legal obligation to honour it. It is at the discretion of the bank to let the tenant stay longer or not.

Apparently my landlord appealed the Court Summons. Does anyone have any idea how long such an appeal will delay the "day of reckoning"?
