My daughter will be a new student this year, P2 and I was wondering if anybody has done their P1 immunisation yet. They recommended the Sai Ying Pun health clinic but it is soo far. I've checked with our GP and she charges around $800 for both vaccines. Do you think we can get the school to get the nurses from the health department when they visit to do it? Thanks alot

Hi ! yes, I just took her last week to my GP for the shots. $ 800, that's cheaper than my GP !
I called the school, they said it's up to ourselves to get it done, but they won't check us on it. It's RECOMMENDED for your own child's protection.
Hope to meet you on August 28.

Hi Kate
I'm taking her tomorrow to do the 6-in-1 vaccination + mmr tomorrow morning. I can tell she's not really upto it as she hates needles! Anyway I hope to see you on the 28th Aug as well. (Do you know why they had to have their orientation so late?)

Hi Kate
Which class is your daughter in? My daughter has got Ms Liu in P2L. Apparently I know her. She is the sister of my college friend in London and I haven't seen her for at least 10 years. I thought she looked familiar! What a coincidence!

scytran, hahah, ok, looks like we must have looked at each other's faces already... did you take your daughter to class yet? There are only 6 girls in Ms Liu's class, yes, my daughter happens to be one of them. Oooh, I am so nervous. Wondering WHICH one you are ? Vanessa? Annika? Charlene? There are 2 more I don't know their names yet!
I PM to you my telephone number. Let's chat some time.
