hi All
i'm pretty nervous and need some advice,
i live in HK for 2 years and had id card+ employment visa, recently i've been caught and arrested for possesion of dangerous drugs, small amount, i was released after few hours and only 500HKD bail ,meanwhile my employment visa is about to expire and the immigration office already called and asked questions, i'm working in a big trading firm and they applied for me for 2 years ...
will / can they reject my application?
is it mandatory that i'll have criminal record ?
can i ask the police not to put charges?
what is the process that i'm about to face? and what should i do?

why ? isn't that a little extreme? isn't there anything i can do ?
i'm not a criminal just little amount , most people just get fined i'll probably too just get fined ... isn't there an option to get fined without criminal record?
