I subscribed to cable TV for almost 2 year and now I want to teminate my contract with them.
So I called the costumer service, but all I got a person that doesn't speak english and asked my contact nomber so somebody speak english will call me back.
I also email them 3 times through their website for consumer hotline.
I waited and waited and waited but nobody called me in days so I called them back but got the same situation; nobody speak english and leave my contact number.
This is hapenned almost two weeks.
Finally somebody speaks english called and promise me to send the form in 2 hours. Now after a week I haven't receive any fax.
Finally I got the contact person that speak english and demand my termination form to be sent to me, but the same, that they will promise to send in 2 hours. Until the next day, I haven't receive any fax.
I even asked to go to their office to settle this down bbut they won't give any address and I only have to deal this through phone.
In the mean time time pass and the payment for this month will due and they will charge it because they haven't receive my termination for.
So please anybody know what should I do?
Has anybody has this experience?
I spoke to the bank and want to cancelled the payment and the bank can not do that because I need to do t with the cable TV.
This is night mare.

Tough one because they play games! I went to the extend of terminating my credit card. That threw the ball back to their court and they started chasing me for payments (which I would not have owed them if they attended to my request to terminate in the first place), which gave me opportunities to ask them to pull the plug on the service. They did, finally...
By the way, I switched to another company, the service did not get any better. Telcos and cable tv's services are just bad in HK and lots of tactics used on consumers. Get a local friend who speaks Cantonese to call them or accompany you to the shop and most problems could be fixed slightly faster that way.
