Does anyone know of a centre to learn Mandarin or Cantonese in Repulse Bay area? Do not want to go to Central.

There is no centre. But there are certainly tutors that come to your house. Try Chris 6573 1818. I also know that people organize their own groups and have a tutor come in for 4-5 people.

Is it better to learn through a tutor in a group or go to the centre? I was thinking about having 2-3 ppl meet up and have a private lesson. Please let me know if anyone is interested in learning Cantonese in repulse bay and we can form a group and meet up at someone's place and have regular sessions with a private tutor. I am looking to start on the 1st of October.

Depends on the teacher but mostly the students. There is really no "better method" between the two.
