Looking for Specialist for my 4 year old

We have a 4 and half year old son who doesnt like to eat at all, he simply has no appetite... He is a very bright and happy child but when it comes to feeding, he's just not interested. He can go without food the whole day and still be very active. He is also very underweight. This has been going on since he was 21 months. I have tried many things over the last few years and nothing seems to work, ie rewarding, punishing, dsicipline you name it. Even had medical check ie scan of the abdomen, xray, blood tests, seen a dietician and everything was normal. I've tried giving him vitamin drops to increase his appetite.



Can anyone suggest a very good child specialist who can help me? or suggest what else I can do. Thank you.

Does he have sensory issues with food and textures on his hands? Does he eat only a certain type of food or no food at all?


I am an Occupational Therapist who works with kids with eating issues and my son has eating/texture/gag issues as well. Maybe he doesn't like the feel of food in his mouth. Does he get enough physical exercise during the day?
