Hello, I'm thinking of buying in Sri Lanka.

Is there anyone out there who can give me any advise, Freehold, 99 year lease, avoiding 100% tax.

Many thanks

A foreigner is required to pay 100% tax on purchase of real property in SL except when he purchases a unit(s) in a condominium property.

He is entitled to purchase a unit(s) on or above the 4th floor of a condominium and should show inward remittance of funds for the purpose..

Should you require further information please do contact our Mr. N.T.S.Kularatne, Solicitor, a Sri-Lankan Lawyer at 2526 1767.
