Just want To know have to divorce or not!

My situation is we were marriage in Hong kong and my husband was holding Visit visa and he is Canadian citizenship and im working in Hong kong.Was happen last 2007 in August and i don't even get to canada and he live there and i live here.Now i just want to know is that true he can get marriage in any contry accept Hong kong?and he never report that marriage to the canadian government.


For me i have no problem can get divorce in my coutry but if i will marriage here yes i neen his agreement.

1. your husband is married and in usual circumstances cannot be married again in any country until he divorces you FORMALLY.


2. you can get divorced in HK since you have a NEXUS to this jurisdiction;


3. you do not need your husband's consent IF you are living separate and apart for a period of 2 years....if he consents...you need to live apart ONLY 1 year (living apart is not simple PHYSICAL separation but can be living apart in the same house).
