Feeding schedule

Our 15 month old girl has just been quite sick in the night and although she seems fine, it's highlighted the fact that we're really unsure about her feeding schedule.

We understand that 1 year olds need around 16oz of milk a day. - she has one 7-8oz bottle when she wakes and another at night (around 10pm). She doesn't sleep a lot, so she generally will go down around 9-9.30 and we'll give her a bottle half an hour later...

Apart from that she eats well - breakfast, lunch & supper. She likes to eat with us (and will often refuse if offered food alone) - so she tends to eat breakfast around 8, lunch at 1 and supper at 7. She eats when she's hungry and stops when she's had enough. She loves fruit but generally has a varied and healthy diet.

Are we right to give her milk late at night? We've tried giving it to her earlier in the evening but she refuses it. We don't want to give her milk in the day and have her refuse her food. (She won't take milk in any other form - no baby rice, muesli etc)

Any advice very gratefully received.

Thank you

I don't think there's any problems giving babies milk at night. That's often what's recommended when you want to make them sleep through the night at an early age.

Maybe something else is making her sick?
