How's Xi'an in December

We are thinking of going to Xi'an in December. Will it be too cold? We only have 4 days, what are the "must-see" attractions beside the Terracotta? Any recommendation for good hotels with the ancient touch?

I visited Xian a couple of yrs ago - the main points of interest are in the pics - I believe the Bell Tower has since burned down :(
