This might be asking too much, but in my quest to source local produce (from HK not China) I was wondering if there are any local suppliers of free range eggs? Thanks.

I got some a few weeks ago at the organic veggie stalls at the Star Ferry pier, HK side, Wednesdays & maybe Sundays. Possibly from Kadoorie Farms? Cheap & yummy, proper yellow yolks.

Yolk color has little to do with quality. It is simply dependent on the diet of the hen. Some plants have yellow/orange pigments and give a more yellow yolk. You can get that with any feed, from organic, free range or factory hatcheries.
