Hi - we're just moved here from the UK - I have a UK itunes account with active UK payment details. We can connect to this account here in HK with an Apple TV we bought here .... BUT we can't purchase any content from the UK itunes store (ie. movies) ?! Is there anyone out there who can explain how we get around this? Any help much appreciated.

did you contact the uk apple support center? there is an apple store in kowloon on nathan rd near the kowloon park entrance. perhaps its a location issue? maybe the uk itunes or apple store won't let you buy from outside the uk. try to get a VPN (virtual proxy network). there are free ones but of course the ones you pay for will be better. this is the vpn i use http://www.personalvpn.com/index.php?mktsrc=shanghaiexpat

I am no Apple TV expert but the following works for apps that can only be bought in certain countries.

In the iTunes store home screen, there is a flag bottom right. Click on that and change to UK. You will now have to log in with your UK iTunes ID. IF you use it in different countries iTunes requires a separate ID per country. You should now be able to access your UK "stuff".
