Formula milk

ORIGINAL POST

My 27 month old boy is not eating very well these days, but he is very fond of soya milk, juices, etc. I am thinking of starting his furmula milk again. Is that a good idea? in fact, I am not sure which brand is the best for toddlers...any suggestions?

At 27 months, your son should be getting his nutrients mostly from solid foods. Also, by now, he should be able to have fresh milk instead of formula. Though he's not eating well, I don't think it's a solution to put him on formula to get his nutrients (unless suggested by the doctor). Just keep offering him different foods, it might just be a phase he's going through. He'll eventually come around and enjoy eating again.

Agreed with michelley. Don't go back. Keep offering a variety. Kids do this to us in order to make us age faster. ;)

:), thanks michelley and axptguy. I think you are right...actually he eats but when it comes to fruits and vegetables, I really have to struggle, and with all those ads about these formula milks (claiming to do wonders to their intellectual and physical health) I though why not!? May be I will consult his paedatrician, if need be.

Also, make veggies interesting. Fry, puree, boil, sautée, grill, steam. Experiment with various spices. Heck a bit of parsley makes carrots ten times more flavorful than just plain.

u can also make fresh fruit popsicles by pureeing it and freezing it in a lolly mold.
