I am hosting a thanksgiving dinner for at least 10 people. Our oven is too small for a turkey so I plan to just order. Does anyone know where to order, aside from olivers? thanks

We've had a really good Thanksgiving dinner for the last 3 years at Fat Angelos of all places. I know they do the whole thing to-go as well as a friend of mine bought it from them for a boat party last year. They've got a branch on Queen's Rd. and one along the Central escalator. I think they've got one in TST as well, but I'm not sure where.

I am not aware of any other places you can have a cooked turkey delivered ... perhaps Dan Ryans?

Here's the Olivers contact info http://hongkong.asiaxpat.com/directory/expat-shopping-guide/food/542/olivers-delicatessen-%28-central%29/

"How about spagetti carbonara instead of the ol' turkey for Thanksgiving - tastes

better, too".

This is what my American pal from Chicago suggested. He said most Americans would prefer a good spagetti carbonara a la Mama Mia instead of the traditional and often dry turkey.

Thanks to all your suggestions, really helpfull, olivers will be my standby, will order at fat angelos.

Mr carsanook- spaghetti carbonara would be great, easy and hassle free, but as you know it won't feel like thanksgiving, at least for the americans. I am asian, I prefer fried rice.

You can try The Langham in TST's Main St. Deli. I ordered from there for 2 years and it was all good.

Gourmet Turkey dinner can be ordered from Nar Cafe (located near the German-French School in Xujing). You can email them @ huiping@nar-sh.com or call 5988-9814 - They also have fantastic pumpkin pies and apple pies, etc. and even properly made New York bagels (boiled prior to baking).

I have ordered a 6 kg juicy gobble gobble from Great in Pacific Place every year (ask for Tim) since 2004....takes a Yank to do it right with all the trimmings...choice of several stuffings...be sure to ask for extra gravy.....

If you have access to a balcony or a roof terrace and a Weber barbecue grill then you can easily make even the biggest turkeys in that. I did a huge turkey in ours a few years ago for a 12 people Thanksgiving dinner. It was extremely easy and tasted great.

I am going to buy one for the Chirstmas party, I want to buy it from oliver's in Central (it seems nice if you can heat it), but it don't have warm one, so I have to find another one, any suggestions?
