I moved to Hong Kong from Canada for my boyfriend right after college graduation and have been living with him since then. During these time I was pregnant once but he asked me to take the baby off, I am unemployed due to the market and stay home, however I did not ask him for any assistant in finance.
Now I found out he has another long distance girlfriend in US for 5 years and they will get married in 2 yrs. She is coming here to visit him. He promised to break up with her but then he said he cant, and ask me to go out of hong kong while she visit him as she needs to stay at our apartment this coming xmas.
This really breaks my heart so I wonder if anyone could tell me, if I choose to break up with him, am I
protected by the law system in HK? will I be entitle
living allowance or part of his asset? I have no income nor place to stay if I broke up with him, but I really love hk n would want to stay here

You're in a very tough situation Cerio.
How long have you been in Hong Kong and what visa do you have? It seems to me that this BF of yours is no good, you need to make long term plans for yourself without this guy.

I know this will sound like a tough answer after wasting some years with an idiot such as this but you will be entitled to absolutely nothing.
You are not married, you are here on a tourist visa only. In fact you should not be residing here on a tourist visa at all.
So if you want to stay in HK it will be down to you entirely. You will have to find a job which will sponsor you for the correct visa and pay for your own place to live. That is the only answer for your situation.

Agree with Evildeeds.
This guy has gone tired of you as to be so crude and treat you with disrespect by asking you to leave so that the other girl can come in. How else can a man say "I don't want you anymore!"? It will be good for you to follow Evildeeds' advice.
