Much more easily though:

They do not. Hergé died in 1986 and the series was discontinued with his death. The last one was the unfinished "Tintin and the Alph-Art", which was published posthumously.
Asterix, on the other hand, continues despite the death of René Goscinny with the other author, Albert Uderzo, doing both writing and illustrating.
