Does any know what is happening for the opening ceremony for the games and where is the best place to watch it etc. I am guessing that tickets are now sold out so trying to find out the best place for the fireworks.

yeah, the official seating is sold out, but lots of open spaces to watch, restos on both sides of the harbour, West Kowloon, Avenue of the Stars, mind you the actual events on the floating stages mind not be visible, but the fireworks obviously would

There are tons of East Asia Games tickets that have not been sold and a lot of those that have were "forced" upon corporations. They are floating around and other than a couple events nobody wants them.
