Hi, Was thinking of getting a tri-scooter for my 3 1/2 yr old and a bicycle for my 2 year old for Christmas. Wanted to know if anyone could recommend a good brand and where to get one? Some I've seen seem rather flimsy.

In my opinion the best tri scooter is the one with two wheels in front and one in the back. Very easy to steer and very stable. All the kid has to do is lean the handlebar left and right to steer. No risk of putting the front wheel at a 90 degree angle or anything like that. I don't now the brand name but Bumps to Babes has it. Very durable too.
Bike: the best starter model is a "glider bike". It's a bike without pedals. Propelled by "walking" on the sides, then holding legs up to coast. There are several models. This is MUCH easier to learn than figuring out pedaling and balancing at the same time. It also makes for an easy transition to a "real" bicycle". ItsImagical and others have these.
