manila and cebu

am planning to go to cebu and manila for holidays. we are family of 4 people 2 adults and 2 children below 10 yrs.

1.Are there any good hotels which can accomodate 4 people in one room in cebu and manila.

2. Is it advisable to stay in lapu lapu city in cebu or at cebu city

3. which area is most suitable for accomodation in manila both for sight seeing and shopping purpose

We just got back from the Imperial Palace hotel in Cebu, it's a new hotel, opened for less than 6 months. We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children under 10yrs) and stayed at their 2 bedroom deluxe suite.

The hotel has it's own waterpark with waterslides for different ages. My 8yr old loved the higher slides and my 3 yr old loved the smaller ones at a different pool.

However, they don't really have a beach to speak of. There is a man made one, but it's pretty small but there is loads of water sports you can join eg. banana boats, jet ski, snorklling, parasailing etc.

We didn't venture out into the city as the pools were enough for our kids, but they do have a shuttle bus that takes you into the Cebu city if you wanted.


Also, because it is a Korean owned hotel, there are loads of korean guests and can make you feel you are in korea.


We totally enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be returning.

for manila. you can try prince plaza II hotel... very affordable.. they provide u with variety of bfast


plus its in the city center in makati... just walking distance to the famous malls like glorietta greenbelt landmark shoemart


you can check philippines airlines as in Hk they have promo packages of hotel + air ticket and it comes out cheap!
