Opening a Child's bank account

Hi All,

Merry Christmas!

I want to open a bank account for my 4 year old son. Born in HK. Not rich yet but hopes to be.

Does anyone have any strong opinions or experiences with any of the big lot here?

Do any of them offer particularly good rates, services or cater at all to potentially long term customers?

Any feedback much appreciated.

Happy New Year!

HSBC never used to let you open a bank account for children under 11, (it may have changed as I haven't checked recently). You used to have to open it in your own name and put "in relationship to...." on it.
