leaving work. Buy colleagues cake?

Most of our staff when they have left, have used wedding cake coupons. This obviously has saved them a lot of money.

However, they only bought cakes for their immediate section. So, if it was HR then the HR staff received the cakes not the whole company as this would be near impossible.

In your case, how about just the staff in your section and another box or two if you had regular contact with them i.e, cakes for HR staff and bring a box of cakes to the next section manager's meeting or alike.

For the cakes, just buy the small cakes you see displayed in the bread / cake shop windows - they are not that expensive. You will need to buy one per person in your section.

I have also seen staff purchase a jam roll cake per office. The staff cut it finely and then in half again so everyone had a small portion.

As with all gifts, it's the thought that counts - not the price
