I am keen to get an idea of the quality & size of a 3-bed apartment for a budget of HKD$20K per month would get in Discovery Bay?

I don't know about DB but 16k would get you a three bedroom high quality flat in Park Island which is next door and with better links to Central and the Airport. No expat life there though.

I just got a 3 bedroom 1068 sq. ft. in DB for $17,000 with balcony and ocean view so it's very possible. I suggest the Kaman agency. They are a small agency and extremely helpful.
