Rude ads in the Classifieds

Have bought a number of great things in the Classifieds on this site and regularly check in to see what is available. See the ad below where some woman doesn't want to be bothered telling prospective buyers the measurements of the bed she has for sale!! When it was purchased is a valid question also as it might be an indicator of the condition of the piece. I have crossed out her contaqct details as I certainly do not want to get her more prospective buyers!


Leaving Sale - Please read ad conditions and don't bother asking me questions like what is the length or when was it purchased etc, etc.


1 x Ikea Single Bed and Mattress Sultan Hogbo.

Used twice as children's spare bed. Excellent condition.


$400 for both mattress and bed frame.

Transport of bed to be organised by buyers.

I have noticed a number of ads like this lately - what a pity.

If they are insulting please let us know their username and we will remove them from our membership and delete ads - if they are simply uncooperative the best strategy is a thanks but no thanks one... if someone can't be courteous then lets not buy their stuff...

It's just a shame it's so hard to find the information you want ... !!!

I think if you are selling a bed and mattress for $400 you can be forgiven for not giving full details.
