with young children under 6? I have two kids..... 6 and 3.5..... wondering whether Bali is a good,safe place for family vacation? We have never taken the kids to anywhere that's not "city developed". (maybe bali is? ) I don't know.....
worried about eating safely, and hygiene in general of the people, and hotels and restaurants there.
Any advice would help. Thanks!

I spend a lot of time in Bali - its a great place for kids - and its generally very safe save the couple of bombings that targeted the crowded Kuta area (a place I would avoid anyway as its a zoo full of bars and rowdy party people).

I found koh samui thailand is more relaxed and smaller. IT is easier to get to anywhere. We take our 2 young boys, aged 1.5y and 4 yrs a few times a year.
