Can anyone recommend any stores with a large selection of beds and mattresses. I've checked out ikea and found nothing I liked there.

go to sogo for mattresses or seahorse shops. seahorse used to be a good brand and has quite some selection but unfortunately they are in the process of f** up their brand

Hästens is great. http://www.hastens.com/en-us/Stores/-Hong-Kong/ Expensive? Surely. But very much worth the price. Have never slept in a more comfortable bed. 30 year warranty on the frame.

Expensive can mean many things in Hong Kong, and I'd rather avoid tripping out there only to find mattresses cost 100k =) What sort of expensive are we talking here?

Ten years ago, our bed cost about HK$80k for a 180cm wide. It was about middle of the range. This is of course "expensive" but consider the fact that you might be using the bed for 30 years or so and it is not so bad.
