Can anyone recommend a beachfront, child-friendly hotel or villa in the Legian/ Seminyak area of Bali?

We stayed at the Seri Villas in Bali last year. We got a pool villa and had breakfast in the villa with our kids every morning. It's in Seminyak, and we were able to walk to the restaurants close by, or have their driver show us around. It was incredibly clean, family run and was very accommodating. I wouldnt hesitate to stay there again...

Nusa Dua Beach hotel spa. Very safe and family friendly, a bit far from club/bar scenes, and a bit reclusive.

What hotel or villa did you choose in the end? I am looking for similar budget with 2 children to go to Bali and am overwhelmed with the choice.

Agree, the choice is overwhelming! My recommendation would be not to chose a very fancy place to start with - if you're not happy with your initial choice, you can always upgrade to another place when you actually get there and have a closer look. We chose a 2-bedroom apartment at a place called Puri Damai, in Legian/ Seminyak. It's very close to the beach and lots of shops and restaurants. Very much like a villa, only downside is that they don't have private pools. You might also want to check out the following: Seri Villas, Dyana Villas, Ulin Villas, Villa Ixora, Uma Sapna. Good luck!

we have kids too but will be looking at the bigger hotels because they have kids clubs where our kids can also get involved in some fun time...giving us adults some break time. last time we stayed at the grand hyatt on nusa dua...really nice but not cheap.
