Does anyone know what has happened to RTHK Radio 6 that used to relay the BBC World Service? I was listening to it last week when it just went to static and I haven't managed to get it back since. More depressingly, I can find no trace of it on the RTHK website any more. Does anyone know if it's been dumped? If so, does anyone know if it's being broadcast by anyone else? I know I can tune in via the internet, but my radio alarm clock isn't that fancy!!

Thanks for that Guys. I got a reply from an email I sent to RTHK saying it was AM675 which is what I had originally, but the only thing we get on this frequency(in fact on AM on any frequency) is terrible static (tried it on two different radios). I was beginning to wonder if it's a problem with the transmitter/general reception. Have there been any changes in HK recently which would result in us being in a radio black-spot? We are based in Kennedy Town.

Hi there,
Apparently there's nothing wrong with the transmitter for BBC World Service. So unfortunately the problem may be located to your location - such as some works going on in the area?

Thanks for that. We'll try and follow it up from our end. Appreciate your time on this. ;)
