Has this occurred with any one here ?
took malfunctioning lenovo laptop into their Service Center, was fixed. However, they changed the operating language, into CHINESE and now refuse to do anything about it. So now I have a laptop that I cannot use.
Any suggestions ? repeated calls to them, have resulted in nothing, I am not very happy with their service.

That's really annoying. Anyway what operating system do you have. There might be a way to fix it without involving Lenovo service.
I also suggest you keep calling them, several times a day. Be very polite but insistent. Don't lose your temper. Losing your temper with them (even if it is warranted) will get you nowhere.

thank you... I have called and called, and to no avail. The system is Windows. I have tried to re-install, but all info comes up in Chinese again...

Or perhaps a UTube video of me smashing the laptop to pieces, in there so called Customer Service Center.. now that would get some attention !

I would recommend you go to a place like Match Power on the second floor of the Wan Chai Computer Centre. Ask them to help you set the language to English.

Which version of Windows? XP? Vista? 7? Which edition?
