Is Limewire now blocked in PRC?

I am in Mainland China and the last two days I cannot log on to Limewire.

Is it just me, or is it now blocked??

Limewire is a bit too easy to track in my opinion. I recommend torrents. Granted they can also be tracked but at least you're not sharing your whole library.


The future is probably anonymous torrenting.

Lime wire has only been off line for 2 days.


I shall have to have a look at torrenting.

Any recomendations for easy to use software.


I have tried bit torrent before, and being a luddite, could not work out how to use it. That is why I liked limewire.

To use torrents you need a tracker and a torrent app. The tracker is found on various torrent sites. Googling "fileIiwant torrent" normally gets you that. Once you have installed the torrent app (uTorrent is the current fave) click the torrent and bob's your uncle.
