I RESIGNED FROM MY COMPANY GIVING ONE MONTH NOTICE AS PER CONTRACT HOWEVER MY COMPANY WANTS ME TO CONTINUE MORE THAN ONE MONTH TILL JOB ASSIGNED TO ME IS COMPLETED

NEW EMPLOYER WANTS ME TO JOIN BEFORE COMPLETION OF ONE MONTH AND ASK TO NEGOTIATE

CAN COMPANY FORCE ME TO STAY MORE THAN ONE MONTH

WHAT SHOULD I DO ??

in HK your existing employer's notice period can be bought out by you or your new employer, you don't have to work out your notice period and certainly have no obligation past it, if your new employer wants you to start immediately have them buy your notice period out.
