I have a large 35mm slide collection that I would like to digitalize. Does anyone know how I can do this efficiently?

Buy yourself a slide scanner fron Nikon and get down to it. Some of the professional photo developers will do this for a fee, but it could get quite expensive. Some of the local photo developers can convert negatives to JPEGs quite cheaply but these are usually in strips. For slides, they may have to unmount and then scan (unless they have adopters)and it may not be worthwhile for them to do it or they charge an arm and leg for the service.
