Anyone knows when is HK biggest sales (summer)?

When is the best time to go? is it early aug or end aug?

im especially interested in branded items

Sales at many stores in Hong Kong start as early as late June. The discounts increase with the passing of time all the way up until early September, but often by that time, the best items are gone. However, more towards August it is possible to get some real "final reduction" finds at incredibly low prices.


BTW -- my opinion only -- I've been to the outlet mall in Tung Chung and found it to contain absolutely nothing of interest. It seemed to me that each store stocked only its rejects -- things they couldn't possibly sell in their regular stores. I was really disappointed since these types of outlet malls in other countries can be quite interesting.

Totally agree with Cucaracha.


TC outlet mall is not very appealing, you might get a bargain on a particular item. But everything else that they have it rejected and couldn't sell in the "real shops"
