Hi,
I wonder if anyone has experience and can help. I'll be going to China from April 1 - 6. And I have a multi-entry China visa which is valid until April 7. So far so good...but my issue is that my passport expires on Sep 22 2010 - meaning I'll have about 5.5 months of validity left on it when entering China.
After doing some reading on the web, I found most sites say that one does need 6 months validity to enter China. But then, last time I went into China, I asked the immigration officer and they told me as long as my visa is valid, I would be able to enter.
I know how things work in China - one person might tell you one thing, but who knows how it will all work out in the end? Just wondering if anyone has had an experience to share and with regard to entering China on a passport with less than 6 months validity?
Many thanks!
Eric

Far as I am aware,is that whatever your PassPort has,is not the same as your Visa.
You must still have a valid Visa for China after the seventh.and get a new Visa before your next entry. With our USA PassPort we must have plenty of extra pages.

Thanks... I called China immigration and they told me I'd be fine. you don't need 6 months validity on thepassport as long as the visa in that passport is still valid. Now, let's see if I actually get in!
