Modeling Agencies for Babies

Hi, Can you recommend agencies for baby modeling. I know every parent thinks theirs is the most beautiful baby in the world but a lot have suggested taking ours to an agency. Does anyone know a reputable agency?

You will see two agencies who advertise for baby models in the HK Standard, and HK Magazine... one is called Red International I think, and the other is more Chinese...


I visited both with my baby daughter. The Chinese one was located near Austin Road somewhere, and they wanted me to pay $3000 to take some studio photos to include in their portfolio. I baulked at the price and they said they would give me a discount.


The other one, Red, was in TST, and seemed much more professional. They said they would charge around $1000, or $1500 for studio photos of the baby to include in their portfolio.


So, be careful of those agencies that are just after your money. If you happen to already have some lovely studio shots, then you can contact the agencies and they will put you on the books for free because you already have some professional photos of your baby.


Or you might consider shopping around for a good price and getting some nice professional shots to submit. Like I said, Red offered to take some photos for $1500 but I don't know how that compares to prices outside and what they give you when they finish.


I have a photographer friend who submitted his pictures of his baby to an agency and the next week, that baby was featured in the latest huggies ads.
