where can i buy a new remote for a split air con unit? is there such thing as a universal remote?

Never heard of a universal remote for an aircon, but it's easy to buy replacement aircon remotes.
You just need to find the brandname of your aircon and go to where they sell them, or contact the manufacturer or supplier, or find out where that brand service centre is.
If Fortress sell it, you could ask them for help first.

You can buy it in Apliu Street, Shum Shui Po. You can choose to buy one of those "universal remote" that match your air con model. But I tried a few brand names before, it's not very durable. Therefore, I choose to buy a second hand one, because it will be a lot cheaper than buying a new one from the manufacturer.
