Finding a make up artist in Phuket

Hi, I am planning to get married in Phuket this June but will have to find a make up artist by myselves. I couldnt get much information from the internet as I only found on MUA, Lisa Allen, but she's already been booked on my tentative wedding day. Do you know if there is other make up artists? I didnt get much information by typing make up artists in the google search. I urgently need your help. Thank you so much.

I got married in Phuket and I called The Chedi hotel, because they do hair and makeup for people getting married in their hotel.


They put me in touch with someone and I asked him to come around for a trial. I hired him because I also couldn't find anyone else. But let me tell you... it seems he was probably just a hairdresser because my hair looked great, but he had NO IDEA how to apply makeup. He did it, but you could tell by how he held the brushes etc that he had no clue.


Luckily, before I left HK, I did a makeup lesson at Paul Gerrard Hair Salon so I could learn something myself, and in the end, I did my own makeup!


I suggest, if you want to find someone while in HK, perhaps you can contact the place where you are getting married and ask for their help in contacting hotels or hair salons to see if they can find anyone. Maybe you can line up a few people and ask them to come around for a trial, for a cheap price, and see if you like the finished look.


Or, you could try contacting some photographers that you can find online, and maybe they'll know of some MUA based in Phuket?

Hi Moomin,I too got married in Thailand last year.I searched a lot for makeup artists,finally i took Nigar with me because she is reasonable and her makeup is really good.Since,then i use her for my every regular party makeups.I advice you not to waste your time and money on trials.I highly recommend her.Her number is 25241272,93645271.
