Just bought a 2nd hand mini cooper S (2006, 12000km) for 5 days from a dealer. It completely cut out on the motorway. After few times to start the car, it starts again. We sent the car back to the garage to check but dont know what's happened still. Any ideas?

usually modern cars come with a diagnostic SD socket. Most garages which service BMW's can do MIni coopers also. It will take 10 minutes to diagnose the fault.
Seems like a Fuelpump, pump relay fault in case of Fuel or if elect it can be the HT coil . Mini cooper engines are v simple.

Vak is prolly right. Looks like a sign from a failing fuel pump.
