We've been here 12+ yrs and now, near retirement have been offered a job in Singapore (less pay but okay) with two cats and own a deeded duplex paid for here in Sai Kung (to sell or lease). Mixed up about what to do. Is it worth the move/experience?

You always have the choice to move back to HK right? Why not consider a move?


After 15 yrs in HK and then 2 yrs in Singapore we're about to move back to HK. For all it's faults I missed HK incredibly. But others enjoy Singapore for more greenery, clean air and ease of living.

I heard that housing in Singapore of roughly equivalent level to those of Hong Kong is not as inexpensive as before.
