I checked to make sure there wasn't a recent thread, so apologies if I missed one.
I need a tailor in HK and I'd appreciate recommendations.
Requirements:
* Probably only 2 or 3 days to have some (maybe 2?) simple but elegant dresses made
* Probably will NOT have own material
* Looking for quality
* Reasonable price (I know this is subjective, but I don't yet know what price range in $$$)
This is for the MIL who is visiting soon, and just emailed to ask to arrange a tailor. I have not had anything made in HK, only SZ, and it took 3 weeks, and quality was average (but, you get what you pay for!)
Any recommendations?

I know this thread is old but really looking for some recommedations on a dress maker, i will pick my fabric and need a good sewing hand. I would feel much confident to go to a recommended one. I want to get few day/evening dresses made. Thx

My wife and I just went to Lou Wu commercial city mall, and found the most amazing Tailor. His name is Adam king and he is located on the 4th floor- # 4028-21. （0086-13538273522，adamkingtailor@yahoo.com.cn）he speaks incredible English and does a great job . the quality of the clothes I've had made at this tailor is unbelievable!
I would be extremely surprised if you could get better, every detail is finished perfectly and to your specifications. I'm very happy with the quality and fit so far. We def. recommend him and will use him again. I've been to Shenzhen many times and this is the first time, we recommend anyone.

What sort of clothes did he make for you? I am thinking of getting an (attempted) wedding dress made, did you notice if he had these in his books?
