Hello.
We too are looking to move some furniture items back to the US. Not a huge amount of stuff (a few tables, paintings, etc). We are paying this ourselves - so cost is certainly a consideration.
Santa Fe and Allie - are not into small jobs like this - can´t get a response from them, and they´re quite expensive from what I hear. We tried to contact Vanpac Group Asia - but their website contact form is broken, and they don´t have any contact info displayed.
Any recommendation on who could help us?! Many thanks in advance.

Although I can only vouch for them in terms of my local office move, it might be worth checking out UniGlobe (tel. 3907 0233; www.unigloberemovals.com) as they apparently specialise in international house relocations and maybe other posters can give feedback on them about house moves. I am sure they will be cheaper than the big two.
BTW, I don't know which companies UniGlobe links up with for the arrivals part of moves it handles to the UK and USA, but for peace of mind I reckon whichever relocation company you choose in Hong Kong it is probably just as important to satisfy yourself that the company it contracts to process and deliver your possessions at the other end is just as good.
