Hi,
I want to have a Land of Nod (like Pottery Barn Kids) bunk bed copied here in Hong Kong, since I cannot find anything I like. Looking for a dark blue color, so they need to be able to do that.
Any suggestions?
I know about Art Deco but they seem to be a little over the top in both design and price. Don't mind spending a couple of thousands but not ten thousands ...

For reference, Raymond fixed up a bed with rails for our daughter. 7000 but it is solid walnut so obviously the material cost was relatively high.

Jade Rattan will be much less expensive. Not solid wood though. And yes, you can get away from those ugly knotted pine, limited choice but adequately so. I had an Ikea bed copied for the guest room. Singlebed partially resting on the spacious window bay window, with deep modilbe storage drawers beneath. $3K+. And with a deep storage credensa cabinet behind the pillow that costed around $4K. Not solid wood; which is better for us as it is not as heavy. But solidly built which will last for at least 10 yrs. Jade Rattan - management is weak. STandard of service is random and below par. Make sure the sales contract states "satisfacton gurranteed". They measured us wrong and tried to force us to take the merchandize. But we refused and we got a full replacement made again (from China). So, all in all it's a hazzle; but just like most things in big cities, you have to be savvy and assertive when you know your consumer rights.
