PC to Tv but wrong sockets

Anyone can help?

Tryin to connect my notebook to the HDTV

My notebbok has VGA

But my TV decoder doesn't it only has a S Video socket or HDMI

Sigh!

What to do

Agreed with dipper. Go direct to the TV. Most modern flats have a VGA/RGB socket. Some have a DVI socket. You can also get a cable to convert from DVI to HDMI. Pretty much all modern TVs have HDMI.

Did just that, went to Wanchai. Needed a coverter to keep the quality.

My TV has been installed into a frame thing and therefore I don't have access to the things at the back.
