The IFC podium level also has public tables where you can bring your own.

As cara says rents are sky high in Central. I doubt you're being ripped off more than in any other bar. Also, if they can charge that and people pay, more power to them.

Agree with above replies. Having undertaken a lengthy and liquid inspection of LKF and SOHO surrounds last night, my guest from the UK reckons HK's prime entertainment areas are excellent value compared to London's, especially during happy hours.

I have noticed that the "scenery" in HK bars beats most places I've been to in Europe and North America by a long shot. ;)
