Hi,
I'm looking for a serviced apartment in HK, that I'm planning to use for a month or two starting in June 2010 while I look for more permanent rental accomodation. I've looked at the "serviced apartments" section on this site, and a lot of other websites, but the general offering seems to be pitched at a more upmarket clientele. (I lived in Tokyo for 6 yrs so not too fussed about size, am just after a good value for money kind of deal).
I am looking at apartments in the HKD 10K and under price bracket, maybe up to HKD 12K if need be.
Does anyone have any experience with this level of the serviced apartment market?
Am quite flexible regarding location, as long as it is a clean, well maintained place with a usable kitchen(ette) and a window or two and reliable management/services.
Any info would be very helpful.
Thanks.

Thanks.
I have looked at the more central areas, Causeway Bay, Central, but I think most of the decent places are beyond my budget so am open to slightly less central areas. I would be happy with a commute of up to 30 minutes, which opens up the options a bit.

They also have similar hotel/serviced apartments in Hung Hom, so you could take the ferry to Central, quite a nice trip.
Harbourview Horizon, and Harbourfront... both in Hung Hom. One is closer to the ferry pier - I think Harbourtfront?
(not to be confused with Harbourgrand expensive Hotel!)

thanks for the ideas. Had a look at the reviews from people who have resided at Harbourview Horizon in Hung Hom and it is a very mixed bag, mostly about noisy neighbours though, so nothing fundamentally wrong with the place. Keeping all options open though, so please keep the ideas coming.
Thanks.

had a chat to Causeway Bay Guest House, they do not do long term stay deals, so the daily rate quickly adds up to a hefty monthly bill.
Thanks though
