My 22 mth old boy is grabbing his crutch and making shrieking sounds with his face. I've taken him to doc who maintains he had UTI. He's had antibiotics and it seemed to stop for about 1 week but now at it again. It causes him to cry out and squeeze the front of his nappy. when i change his nappy, he pulls his penis and makes faces like it hurts. I've had another urine sample done and doc said there was infection. Wondered if your boy has had UTIs or other problem with his penis. My boy has not been circumcised and doc is suggesting if this continues to do so. Are there any other reasons for pulling his penis and crying. I read on internet about the skin separating???

Yeah, I remember reading someone's autobiography and he also talked about having this painful condition when he was small that no one bothered to fix up, something also about the skin separating. It's apparently very easy to fix as well. Perhaps you should visit another doctor and specifically ask them about this condition.
Then again... why did the antibiotics cause the pain to go away for one week? If he had the above-mentioned condition, then presumably he would have been in pain even with anti-biotics.
Poor baby! Either way, maybe you should seek another doctor's opinion?
